Fishing on Loch Arkaig set in the heart of Lochaber to the North of Fort William. This fine water is approached from the West of Loch Lochy along a winding tree lined road known as the Dark Mile, Mile Dorche. Loch Arkaig is a vast deep loch, with quiet secluded bays.
A small fishing boat is available for hire from Inverskilavulin Estate.
This part of the West of Scotland is famous for its wild, rugged landscape and much of the fishing is to be found amongst the most beautiful untouched Countryside. The Lochaber area has been described by some as a fishing heaven.
