Wildlife and Nature
Glenloy, as one of Scotland’s best-known deer forests, has a large population of red deer. Other wildlife at Glenloy includes golden eagle, ptarmigan, red grouse, black grouse, golden plover, roe deer, pine marten, otter, fox, wildcat, heron, swans and black-throated divers along with a wealth of flora. Guided wildlife walks are available throughout the spring and summer allowing you to experience some of these creatures at close quarters.
