Here at Inverskilavulin, one of the things we pride ourselves on is the wildlife that inhabits the estate. Pictured is Tortoiseshell Butterfly Caterpillars (I think), a Gold Ringed Dragonfly Larvae, some kind of Hawker Larvae (I think), A Common Froglet, A Fox Earred Moth, Gold Ringed Drangonfly, Pearl Bordered Fritillary Butterflies, a Bee Hawk Moth, A Great Emporer Moth and a Palmate Newt.
Other exciting animals to look out for are Chequered Skipper Butterflies, Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers, Red Squirrels, Pine Martens, Wild Boar, Foxes, Badgers and Red, Fallow & Sika Deer.

🌈 A wonderful, rainbow variety of Rhodedendrons on the estate.
Many of the blooms were destroyed during the late frost sadly, as we also have deep purples, yellows and white ones. On a nice day you can hear them humming with various insects 🐝
